Ground Control was released four years ago and was a cult RTS game. While it literally horrified many loyal RTS fans by removing the traditional need to build bases and accumulate resources Ground Control impressed many by focussing on combat only. I was one of those who was impressed, so was excited by the news, previews and screenshots that headed my way when it’s sequel started to approach our monitors. The question is can Ground Control II: Operation Exodus live up to the high expectations that the first game has set?
Compatibility
I played the entire game at 1024x768 and only experienced slight slowdown a few times throughout. Not surprisingly this was at times when there was a lot happening on the screen at once, and it was only slight (almost negligible). A system like mine (or better) should have no problems running this game. I experienced no other technical difficulties, bugs or glitches when playing Ground Control 2.
