Albatron FX5200 Ultra 128MB Review

Introduction
Albatron
has moved up the ranks quicker than any other company I can remember. This time last year you would not even know who they were, but now
Albatron
is a household name with followers of the online hardware community. Clearly they have impressed nVIDIA, as they are now one of the firms major release partners. Today we are looking at
Albatron
’s newest entrant into the highly competitive entry-level market – the FX5200 Ultra 128MB.
As you can see
Albatron
has continued their tradition of funky metallic boxes, although this time the usual “Medusa” has been replaced with a nymph like fairy-type thing apparently called “Gigi”. I’m pretty sure that this same design is used for their entire FX5200 line, so if you want this one, make sure the red butterfly at the top right says 5200 Ultra.
Inside the box you will find all the standard fair, but it’s nice to see a video cable in addition to the usual S-video-to-RCA, what do other manufacturers expect us to do with such a small lead? =)
- The Card
- Instructions

You can buy the
Albatron
for £108.09 from

in the UK, or $145 from
New Egg
in the states. Check out other prices here.
